Summer Crest Contemporary Tudor

The design for this 1990’s kitchen went through many revisions. Initially, we were just going to create a new island. But after months of exploring design options, the decision was made to start from scratch. The result is a contemporary, sleek kitchen that is perfect for entertaining large or small groups and comfortable for our clients and their three Italian Greyhounds.

Horizontal grain Sapele Mahogany cabinets are topped with white quartz for ease of maintenance. To create a more modern look to this home, we created wood-clad soffits. Glass tile in shades of cream, grey and blue continue the horizontal aesthetic. For energy efficiency, all lighting is LED.

Our client loves to entertain but likes to work separately from other cooks and guests. Therefore we created many cooking “Zones”.  Cooking, Clean-up, Prep, Baking, Beverage and Hang-out Zones were all created so that everyone has the space they need to create!
