South Portland Condo
Designing in condos are challenging. This kitchen’s biggest issue was that the range and sink were too close to the corner. The results being: minimum working space in the most used area of the kitchen (the space between the sink and the cooktop). The challenge of working in a condo is moving plumbing and ducting. Once you open a shared wall, the costs skyrocket, not to mention the design review committee conflicts. Our solution: by accurately measuring the exact location of the ducting and sink plumbing, and creating a custom designed hood (and an incredibly talented contractor and tile installer), we were able to increase the space between the sink and range exponentially!
